This track was recorded at Pianos in NYC during the CMJ conference in 2003. I Am Spoonbender had put a big piece of see-through plastic up in front of the stage before they started their set. They filled the stage area completely with smoke, started their set behind the sheet of plastic and all you could make out were the outlines of the band. After the first song, the plastic dropped and engulfed the whole club in smoke. Damn, I’m a sucker for bands that use smoke machines.

A pretty damned great band when they wanted to be. I’m honored they let me release “Teletwin”.
