I know absolutely nothing about this band and there is surprisingly little about them on their label’s page (Urban Torque) or their own MySpace page. Hailing from Brighton, what now seems to be a three-piece are just about to release their second EP “979.” The most amusing description I read about The Diogenes Club is someone who said it “reminds me of George Michael’s more downtempo numbers.” This track seems to be a bit more of a straightforward club number than that description suggests, but calling them an 80’s throwback band sells these guys short. They are much more interesting than that.
