By request, here is one of the two tracks that I recorded of Unbroken’s set at The Glasshouse in Pomona earlier this month. I’ve never been a big fan of the chugga chugga tough-guy hardcore genre, I wasn’t really interested in seeing Unbroken. Frankly, I had no idea that they were so popular, but when they started playing, the place went nuts! We stuck around for a couple of songs and that was enough to say “we were there,” then we split.

  1. Most of those kids that went nuts were probably nine when Unbroken broke up hence the hero worship. I agree with the chugga-chugga refrence but Unbroken never seemed tough-guy, that was more like OLC or Madball–Unbroken are unashamed Morrissey fans

  2. You’re probably right on the hero worship and in this case it was more the “tough-guy” fans, rather than the band themselves.
