Since I still have a bunch of old e-mails sitting in my inbox of bands I’ve been meaning to write about, I’m going to use this week to feature more new music. One new band that caught my attention was Night Driving in Small Towns. They were recently signed to a small Atlanta label and who sent out a press release describing them as “folksters.” That’s not really my genre of choice but they have a sound which is strikingly similar to early 90’s Mary Lou Lord which I love. This track “Red Rover” seems to be the stand-out of the few tracks I heard on their electronic press kit but are all worth a listen.
