I have to admit, I know virtually nothing about The Primitives and the only release I have is their “Crash” single, so I found it very amusing that the premiere Primitives site on the web has their homepage titled “The Primitives, the 80’s band who sang CRASH.” It looks like they started in the mid-eighties and called it quits around 1992. This song comes from midway through their career and was recorded in Washington DC at the end of 1988, which was probably the height of their popularity. I know that’s about the time that I first heard this song.

  1. This is one of my Top Ten Favorite Songs of my Life. It is 2-7 minutes (depending on the version) of Pure Pop Paradise! Everytime I play this song at work, someone new asks
What song is that”???, “Who does that song”???!!! It is a masterpiece from the 80’s Pop Culture that will live on and on and on…………
