I’ve always been a big fan of David Gedge and company’s choice of cover songs. This past tour they played a fantastic cover of Julee Cruise’s “Falling” which I had never heard them play live before. A week or so ago, The Wedding Present did a set for Huw Stephens’ BBC Radio show and played four covers. The highlight from that set was this Go-Gos cover. The show was streamed on the web, so the quality isn’t the greatest, but I’m sure that eventually the songs will get a proper release.
