When I moved out of my parents house after high school the one thing I really wanted to be able to do is live somewhere that I could have shows. As luck would have it, we found a place in a bad neighborhood in downtown Minneapolis where people didn’t care if we had bands playing all night. The very first show we had was Karp on their first US tour. That was a great way to kick off a four year run of shows at 1212 aka “The MN Academy of Gung Fu” aka “The House of Gung Fu” aka “The Black Lung.” This song was recorded live at Maxwell’s in New Jersey in 1994.

  1. These cats have come to rest comfortably among my favorites and make up one half of what is arguably the best split 12″ ever released. Thanks.
