Johnny Cash – Let The Train Blow The Whistle (Live)

I was lucky enough to see one of Johnny Cash’s last performances. It was a Johnny Cash “Holiday Concert” that he played at Orchestra Hall in Minneapolis in December of 1996. June made him wear this silly Santa hat while he was performing. It was very amusing to see “The Man In Black” sporting a red Santa cap and singing Christmas carols. The show was a great mix of old songs and new songs from the recently released “Amercian Recordings” record. As far as I know, he only performed in the US about 20 more times before he died in 2003. This song was recorded at the Glastonbury Festival in England in 1994.
