I realized that I haven’t posted a Blonde Redhead clip in over a year and a half. This video was shot over ten years ago on the same tour that I saw them for the first time. I will still go see them whenever I have the opportunity, but their performances are certainly not the same. The sense of urgency and excitement have been taken over by them having to constantly play to a backing track with pre-recorded vocals. But what I think is amazing is that I still will get goosebumps when Blonde Redhead plays one of their older songs with just the three of them playing and no recording behind them.
