The best way I can describe this track from Poplin is Stereolab crossed with a heavy dose of early Cardigans. If that’s not enough to get you interested, I don’t know what else to tell you. With a bit of a throwback to 60’s French pop, this one man band out of Singapore has put out one of the best EPs I’ve heard in a while. If you’re interested in the genre of Yéyé at all, you MUST pick up this EP.
