If I had to pick my five favorite Wax Trax! records, two of them might very well be albums by My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult. The Thrill Kill Kult came through NYC and I checked them out expecting a reunion show. Before the show began I bought
the remix cd “Blood Dope Sin Gold” they had for sale and realized that the cd contained remixes of songs off of 4 albums I never heard of, so it seems that they have continued churning out their patented sleaze-dance-core well after “Hit and Run Holiday”. The show itself was dynamite and pretty wicked entertaining and also with what looks like the original crew.
Included here is a live track of the classic track Daisy Chain 4 Satan that is called Drug Chain 4 Jesus on the “Blood Dope Sin Gold” remix cd that was recorded at the Blender Theater at Gramercy, NYC and showcases their patented drug-addled-disco-sleaze replete with great Reefer Madness type samples.
