The Sound Of Indie is out of commission for a couple of days while I get an upgrade. The ol’ Pentium 4 is on it’s last leg and needs to finally be put to rest. I’m looking forward to the day when I can burn a cd WHILE surfing the internet or preview a video clip in Premiere without having to let it render over night. A new AMD Duo Core w/2 GB of ram is in the picture, hopefully tonight. Look for new posts starting Monday.
BTW, a quick “Closer” recap. It was good. Actually really good, but only if you are a fan of Joy Division. If I wasn’t, I probably wouldn’t have found it very interesting or engaging. I’m trying to envision going to see a movie about the lead singer of, say, Boston, who also committed suicide and having to sit through 2 hours of their music. Nah, not for me.
