A Place To Bury Strangers
Silverlake Lounge
Los Angeles, CA

I finally got a chance to check out the much-hyped A Place To Bury Strangers last week. They played 2 shows in LA but I only caught the second one. The club was packed, insanely packed, the most packed I’ve seen it since Jonathan Richman’s 4 day stint. I showed up early enough to get somewhat near the front so I could at least see part of the band. They put on a great show but they broke into a very long “wall of sound” part during the set which I found kind of boring. Other than that, it was stellar.

Set List:
1. Gimme Acid
2. Never Going Down
3. To Fix The Gash In Your Head
4. Deadbeat
5. I Know I’ll See You
6. I lived My Life To Stand In The Shadow Of Your Heart
7. Ocean

Update: Thanks to Jonathan for filling in the missing track names.
