Solid Gold – Get Over It – The Sound Of Indie

Even though I haven’t lived in Minnesota for nearly 10 years, I’m still inclined to give Minneapolis/St. Paul bands a bit more attention. You always want to give “the home team” the benefit of the doubt, right? Not that Minneapolis’ Solid Gold need any charity from me. They’ve been doing pretty well for themselves including a stint opening for The Ting Tings around this time last year. This track comes from their debut lp which I came to find out was produced by a long-time acquaintance of mine, Ryan Olcott. Damn it’s a small world!
