I played this track for my girlfriend and she was super pissed. She doesn’t understand why I like this track but can’t stand MGMT. I will give her credit that it certainly is “derivative” of their sound, but I find CASXIO’s hooks a bit more polished. I jumped to their MySpace page and checked out their other tracks, none of which were nearly as good as this one. Apparently this is an “unreleased” track which has been making it’s way around the internets for the last 8 months. They are playing SXSW so if you find yourself there, check them out.
