Disembodied got together in Minneapolis in 1995. I always thought they were heavily influenced by another Minnesota band, Threadbare, but Disembodied took the hardcore/metal combination to the extreme. They put out a bunch of releases including records on the now very successful Trustkill and Ferret record labels. This song is off of their first 7″ on Moo Cow Records which was released in 1996. As far as I know, the band broke up in ’98 or ’99 and Joel, Tara and Justin went on to form Martyr A.D.
