Out of all the bands that ever played at my house or stayed at my house, I think that Harriet The Spy were some of the nicest individuals I ever dealt with. They also were the first of many great bands to come out of Kent, Ohio. To this day, I remember that the first show I put on for them had 5 bands and only about 15 people showed up, so every band got paid $7. The good thing is that most of the people who saw them play bought a record, I know I did. This song is from the split 7″ with Grain on FKG Records that I bought at that show.

  1. Hah, I remember when epitonic was actually a good website, they had a song called Androgeny by Harriet the spy. It is still one of my favorites- kick ass band.

  2. THIS BAND WAS THE BEST INDIE BAND OF THE 90’S.
I have a HTS/Wickersham split 7″ involving Justin Young, Jason Smith, Joel and several members playing in both bands!
    Ahead of there time.
