Not to be confused with the Courtney Love that is featured on the cover of tabloids every other week, this Courtney Love was a two-piece band consisting of Lois Maffeo on guitar and Yoyo Recordings founder Pat Maley on drums. Releasing three seven inches and a few miscellaneous tracks on compilations, Courtney Love broke up when Lois moved to Washington D.C. and started her solo career.
