Unfortunately, this is only part of this show. As was the case with a lot of cassette trades back in the day, one show could get split across 2 cassettes. As careful as I was with my live recordings, I still managed to loose a few tapes here and there during various moves. The second half of this Cardigans recording is one that managed to slip away. It’s not a huge loss, it’s just an average (at best) audience recording. One notable thing about this show is that they played Something So Wrong which I don’t have on any other live recordings.

Here’s a recording of The Cardigans during their promotional stop at KCRW for “Life.” Sounds like they were having a few technical difficulties that day, but the songs themselves are fine, it’s only the interviews that are a bit messy. As an added bonus, the person who sent me this stuck one track from their El Rey show the night before on the end of the cassette.

This was a live FM broadcast that I received in a trade years ago. I saw The Cardigans for the first and only time on this tour. After “Life” came out, I was a huge fan and which continued with “First Band on the Moon,” but I was largely disappointed with them live. Years later, they still come across lackluster live as evident in this recording.
