In The Nursery – Mystère

Before I got this video last week, I had never seen any live footage of In The Nursery posted anywhere. This song is one of the highlights of the show and also one of their earliest tracks off of 1983′s When Cherished Dreams Come True. One thing that I find hilarious is that the two brothers, Klive and Nigel, look remarkably similar to one of my friends, so whenever I look at them I have a bit of a chuckle imagining him in their place.

One of the more overlooked Wax Trax!/Sweatbox bands, In The Nursery are comprised of twin brothers Klive and Nigel Humberstone. They’ve released a ton of stuff in the nearly 30 years that they have been around, but my favorite has always been the pre-1990 releases. This song is an demo from the 1986 “Sonority” 12″ that was found on an outtakes cassette. One thing that I found interesting is that despite constantly playing live since 1981, they have never played a show in the US.
