This is a better than average, 1st generation recording that I just transferred to CD. I got this from the original taper who mentioned that Adrock of the Beastie Boys was featured during the Soundgarden cover. This could have been from the tour that Cibo Matto opened for Beck since the setlist is so short, but don’t hold me to that.

I caught Miho Hatori a couple of times in New York last year and she was fantastic but I wasn’t that thrilled when I picked up here latest solo record earlier this year. I think it’s going to be hard for her to ever top the first Cibo Matto lp, but there’s no way I would pass up the chance to see her perform live again.

La Woman.” I think it was originally released as a 7″, but I got it from the five track Japanese release pictured here.

With members from The State, Viva Variety was a short-lived show on Comedy Central. For such a strange show, they seemed to have quite a few great bands that did live performances like Shudder to Think, Moby, and They Might Be Giants. This is a great performance from Cibo Matto who appeared towards the end of the run of the show.
