I’ve never cared much about Husker Du or The Replacements, but I think that the best music to come out of Minneapolis (besides Prince) was The Strike. I didn’t attend this Columbus Fest, but this video of The Strike shows they put on an awesome show.

what a band. Thanks again for putting these videos and songs up. The Strike was one of my top 5 local bands. I would sit in piss in a South MPLS basement to see them play.
