“Kennedy” will always be the stand out Wedding Present song for me. It’s “our song” if you will. The first time I heard The Wedding Present it was on the radio right after Bizarro came out, so I’m assuming it was in ’89. The local radio station (KTEQ for those in the know) played the song regularly for about 6 months. I wouldn’t have the opportunity to see them live for another 8 years, but when I snuck into their show (oh how I hated 21+ shows those days) at the Fine Line in Minneapolis, I was speechless. They are playing at The Troubadour in LA in a couple of weeks and I’ll be there front and center.
